This is a house located near Tairua, New Zealand. Situated overlooking the sea to the northeast, the design intent was to capture as much of the scenic panorama as possible and bring it into the house. Behind the house, to the south, is a tree-covered hill. Sandwiched between the richness of the sea and that of the hill, the project was to open the house as much as possible to the natural exterior and be part of it.The plan maximizes the position of the environments in relation to the panoramic potential.

The ground level has a garage, kitchen & sejour and a large terrace, as well as access to the first level. The first level has the bedrooms and an anteroom. The choice of material for the outer covering considers natural and discreet cores. The idea is for this house to camouflage itself in the middle of the forest and for its main glass facade to reflect the sky and the sea.
